Remove the nib from the barrel by turning it in the direction of the arrow.
Take the slider out of the nib.
The slider is very small. Please handle with special care to prevent losing it.
Use the cleaning pin attached to the eraser to clear the lead jam.
Carefully insert the cleaning pin into the top of the slider to clear the lead jam.
*Please make sure that the cleaning pin is not bent, then slowly insert it straight into the slider. Be sure the rubber retainer does not come off.
If you check the back of the slider and still see the lead jam, try to clear it from backside with the cleaning pin.
After the lead jam is completely cleared, set the slider back into the nib.
Turn the nib in the direction of the arrow to set it back to the barrel.
